Drama Desk can get new hall

Parnes The Drama Desk Honours, among Gotham's annual legit kudofests, will get a transformation -- again -- tapping Joey Parnes Prods. to produce and general manage the June ceremony.The 57-year-old honours, held for inside an auditorium at Gotham's arts-centric La Guardia High, a year ago moved from Sunday to Monday evening and happened at Hammerstein Ballroom. The evening didn't run easily, invoking grumbling.This year TheaterMania.com can have the ceremony at midtown's Town Hall with Robert R. Blume and David S. Stone, in colaboration with Renee McCurry.
