Anybody know talent agent/casting director? For game of thrones or ANY
show/movie?
My name is Thomas Carney,I'm a British-American aspiring actor and a
huge Game of Thrones fans! I've been wanting to start an acting career

for some time, and watching the GoT series finally convinced me to get

started. I'd absolutely love being on in future seasons, even as an
extra- I couldn't imagine a better beginning!

Does anyone know of anyway to contact producers, agents or casting
directors? I know I probably don't have much time, and I'd be willing
to do really anything.

I've just turned 19 years old, I'm about 6'3, gold/brown hair, blue
eyes, lifelong athlete and musician. I'm a dual citizen of the United
States and United Kingdom by birth, so I can work anywhere.

Honestly, I feel prepared to take a lead role starting tomorrow- I
absolutely KNOW I'd nail any role offered. I don't care if it's
an
extra in one scene, or the new protagonist (or antagonist!)
I PROMISE I'll stand out and make HBO rich- just give me that
chance!
I just feel this incredible rush of energy, like there's nothing
else
in the world I see myself doing. I just can't fathom how anyone
could
experience "stage fright" or nervousness- I've never felt more
comfortable than the times I . Perhaps that sounds a little
egotistical, but I promise it's not…or actually, perhaps I AM a
little
egotistical- I truly do believe I could walk on tomorrow and take a
starring role- but if I DIDN'T feel that way, if anyone didn't
feel
that way, could you honestly see them able to do so? It's like a
musician onstage during a concert- how can they give an amazing show
if they expect to sound anything other than amazing?

I actually do have a bit of acting, performance and modeling
experience, but I believe my most important experience is rather
unconventional. When I was 16 I was going to do an internship with the

National Clandestine service of the CIA- basically the espionage
division. Although I decided not to do it, I spent months practicing
different identities, characters, mannerisms, traits, voices, etc-
useful skills for an undercover, AND for an actor. My friends were
also amazed and would always (and still do) tell me I'd be perfect for

movies.

When I think of a portraying a character and saying a line, I don't
ask myself if it's happy, sad, or angry. Instead I ask myself-
"Does
he really mean this?" "Does this reflect his past?" "Does this
signify
a source of pride or shame?" "Is he being honest?" "What's
his
motivation for saying such?" "What can you learn from him in this
line?" It's no different than the life I've always had, and as
Keith
Richard says- you can always answer the question "what are you
doing"
with two simple words- "Just living", and that's exactly how I
see
acting. I've had a lifetime's experience of playing roles, meeting

characters, conveying expressions and feelings and thoughts, assuming
identities and wearing masks. I've never really understood the
concept
of acting school- isn't every moment of your life like attending the

world's best acting school?

But anyway, there really isn't much I wouldn't do- so please, if
anyone has any information, let me know!

Thank you very much!
Thomas Carney
